Typical superhero movie. At first seem very weak, but in the end can do one-man-show.

Effects weren't that bad and the CG-ed outfit on Hal is impressive.

Plotting? Let's just say it could have been better.

So there's Hal, the irresponsible-pilot-turned-superhero,

his insignificant girlfriend Carol (was it Carol?),

the corrupted elder-goblin-octopus super-villain Parallax,

the infected nerd genius Hector with a bulb-like head,

and the other few Green Lanterns with weird appearances.

Oh wait, there's his almost non-existing friend, what's his name again?

So, Hal got chosen and inherited the ring from Abin Sur, bla bla bla, trained by a giant hog and the evil-looking soon-to-be-villain Sinestro, bla bla bla.

Then it is shown that Hector, who is still "normal", examined the dead body of Abin Sur and got stung by the yellowish evil energy thingy. Which, turned him into some sort of psychic, making him an almost evil mind-reading nerd genius, almost.
So, one fine day, he accidentally read a student's mind: "Boring... Bla bla bla... Freak..." and being unable to control his powers, he lifted the boy from his chair and threw him onto the ground. Then at night, he went to a party. What, no student wants to report this supernatural matter to the principal? Oh, right, the nerd professor is just too scary... Boohoohoo.

At the party, Hector caused the helicopter with his dad on it to malfunction and crash. Then, Hal who had lost his balls decided to grow them back and saved hundreds of people's asses from a crashing helicopter using an imaginary race track.

Then, Hector's body deformed and his head grew like a bulb, with a few more bulbs attached to it.

The scientists "invited" Hector back to the lab to see the blood sample of Abin Sur which shows the small amount of yellowish evil thingy. Hector sort of attacked his dad and was put under sedative then trapped on a surgery table.
Somehow, he managed to break free and started wreaking havoc in the lab.
SUDDENLY (it was so sudden that "Suddenly" isn't enough to describe it), Green Lantern, appearing out of nowhere and unannounced, came to "save the day". Was the previous scene cut?
Fight, fight, fight... BANG! Both of them lie injured on the ground. After some chattering, GL decided to get up but was forced lying back on the ground by Hector while shouting "SIT DOWN". What, the new definition of sitting is lying?

Miraculously and suddenly, Hal and Hector were both back in their lives: one busy being a jackass and another busy twitching here and there. Scene cut again? What happened to their fight? Who won? How did they get out there? How come the security in the so-called highly secured lab so weak?

So now, Hal decided that he wants to save the Earth from Parallax and tells the Core not to use the yellow ring, yet.
Suddenly, he went to a hangar to meet Hector. Scene cut, again? wtf? And suddenly, we see Carol being held hostage. Huh? What? When? Where? How? Huh?
Wait, Hector's on a wheel chair...why not levitate himself and float in the air when you have all the power you need?
Oh, good job Hal, give him the ring in exchange of Carol and put Earth's survival on the line. No, wait. Wow, great idea! You have to be chosen to use the ring, so Hector can't use it. And Parallax came by to say hi and sucked up Hector. "You've failed meeee... *Zoooooopp* "
You know what, the plotting is like so random and lame.

Finally, Hal lured Parallax out of Earth and brought him close to the sun. (If I was Parallax, I would suck up the whole Earth before going after the tiny green thing. Just saying. LOL)
Of all the things he could do, Hal decided to sucker punch the giant octopus goblin in the face. Boom. Aaaahhh...Parallax was drawn to the Sun and fried.

The Fking End. Seriously, the plot could have been better.

If you guys stayed until the first credits were over, you'll be able to see Sinestro wearing the Yellow Ring. With a sinister look of course. Sinestro, sinister...see the resemblance? Haha...

Second episode: Hal VS Evil Sinestro, Green Ring VS Yellow Ring. Change the director, I'll give you a second chance.

My laptop was sent to a lenovo service center in Lintas (somewhere in KK) to be fixed. So, I had to get it by yesterday. But, Lintas is so damn far away... and no one can send me there.

Desperate times, desperate measures...

I rent a car. You know I can't drive, YET. So, I "hired" a person to drive for me. I shall not disclose the person's name. We shall name this person X. Hahaha.

And so, we rented an auto-transmission Viva at the rate of RM8/hour. When we first got into the car, we couldn't find the switch to adjust the driver's seat. It took about 2 minutes to finally figure it out... While starting the engine, X accidentally pressed a button and set off the alarm... At the petrol station, we had to call the car rental uncle to tell us where is the switch to open the gas tank.

Aih, first time drive Viva, it's like that de lo... xD

Well, after getting my laptop, there's still plenty of time left for us to lepak a bit... So, we went for sang yuuk mian. Still plenty of time... we went to Ren Ai for herbal tea. Online using some other shop's wi-fi. Well, we sat there for about an hour. I suggested to go to Sutera Harbor for a walk, but X says it's too sunny and hot; so, we just headed back. And then it started raining. =="

Anyway, after returning the car, we went to 1Borneo to watch "Homecoming", a hilarious Singapore movie by none other than Jack Neo. :D

But, before that, we went to Times... to kill time. We've spent almost half an hour playing "Spot the difference" on a book. Damn, lifeless people. hahaha

I bought GSC Combo 6: Large Popcorn with Ice Lemon Tea and for a short period of time, there'll be 1 can of free Seasons Apple Tea, Lemon Tea and some dunno what tea la.. Not bad... X took my free can of drink... T^T

"Homecoming" was fantabulous. Go watch it and you'll know what I mean. hahaha... I'm not gonna do a review on the movie.

After the movie, we went to book places for the shuttle bus back to UMS... something we should've done BEFORE the movies. And, as expected, it's fully booked. So, since we have no where to go and there's no TUT bus, we watched another movie.

The Green Hornet 3D!!!!! hahahahahaha

It's so damn bloody awesome and funny... Great movie. BUT, Jay Chou's English is bad, no wait, waaaaaaaaaaay beyond BAD. I had to listen reaaaally carefully when he speaks. And even so, I missed out quite a lot of his speech... xD

It was 9pm when we've finally decided to leave 1B. We took a RM15 taxi ride to Kg. AB and walked back to Kg. E. Reminds me of last semester where we used to walk back from the library at night. Well, a night stroll once a while isn't all bad... :)

Everyone has his/her own stories. No? What you've been through, what you've seen... There must be a "tale" or some sort story that you might wanna share.

It was a special night. One night I wouldn't forget...

We went to a mamak in KingFisher to have dinner; food finished in about 30 minutes, but we stayed there for at least 2.5 hours... to talk. xD

It was not just ANY talk. It was a story-telling session where we (they actually) share our experiences. At the end of it, Kee Jie made me feel like going to Taiwan to shop around while dragging an empty luggage bag along and go clubbing every night; Shian made me feel like working in a beer factory during my internship; and they made me feel damn hungry when they talked about eating cheese and drinking wine. Damn you people. lol

Then we went to Icebar; thanks to KK, we don't even need to bring our wallets with us... heeheee... Although we've only went there and came out after like, 10 minutes, but hey, it was my first time "entering a bar". xD

And so, 5 idiots went to somewhere near the chancellery. They lied down on the carpark, and looked up into the sky. Truly, majestic view.

The moon was so damn round and high up in the sky. The light is enough to illuminate the dark.

The stars can be seen clearly, KK even thought us how to identify the constellations.

Then, there was a shooting star! When I lied down at first, I asked myself, would I be lucky enough to see a shooting star tonight?

And I was lucky enough. :)

After some time, we got up, and started "sharing stories" again. haha...

After we got chased away by the UMS security (twice), we've changed our location. But this time with an extra member and some extra beverages. Lol...

We went to KK's school and continued talking and drinking... until 2am.

That night, is a night where quite a number of my "first times" were given away.

That night, is a night where I've learnt quite a lot from my friends.

I'm really starting to enjoy being in FunzCrew... xD

I've actually skipped a lot when I'm typing this post. I think I'm facing a dilemma: whether I should put more or put less. But, ah, who cares, really?

(PS: Sorry ya Aaron, had to wake you up at 2am... Paiseh~ hahaha)

Bacon, Booze and Pizza

Happy New Year~

It was such a random plan. Davis, Kok Peng and I. Bought 4 packets of pork bacon, about 600grams, 12 cans of beer and 2 packets of nuts. Kok Peng brought a small bottle of vodka, a peach flavored liquor that tastes like paint and a bottle of Twister.

We fried the bacons, some with butter, some with pepper and paprika, some with mint and some with beer. LOL.
Anyway, they were all delicious. Succulent pork strips with oil droplets trickling down their surfaces... which then hardened into something like keropok babi... XD
When we finished the bacons, we found out they weren't enough. Then we tapau-ed pizza from a Pizza Hut nearby. Saw two "kinda" hot chicks but potentially transexuals. Hahaha

Back in the house, I made a phonecall to wish someone happy new year, but line damn bad, "halo, halo, halo, ting dao ma? halo, halo, halo?" took up about 80% of the talk-time. Then went to register courses for sem 2 and became very the bik chik. Aih... Sorry ah Davis.

Then we spent our time singing and playing emo songs... "爱上你是我情非得已~~"
Then started la, "twist and shout~! come on baby~" hahaha

Kok Peng tak henti-henti force us to drink his paint-taste peach liquor... He himself can't even stand the taste. Podaaaa~ ==

And now, we're 3 almost wasted, half-drunkards doing non-beneficial activities. Eg, blogging. LOL

Can't wait for the final gathering later at Tan Cha Ook before going back to Sabah...

Merry Christmas~ I know it's a bit too late, but still, just wanna wish you guys a Merry Christmas~ haha

I've spent my Christmas in Malacca, more specifically, Jonker Street. There wasn't much to do apart from taking photos, waiting, eating, more waiting, walking through crowded areas full of weirdos and buying weird stuff. Example of weird stuff: Ancient chinese kungfu notebooks

Anyway, we've missed the count down that night.. all thanks to Chew Kok Leong friggin' cold jokes... "我不能载象, 我不能载象..." xD

After reaching our "house", we exchanged gifts.. Some got what they did not expect, some got really meaningful gifts, Kim Foo got what he needed.. LOL

Before moving on, let's rewind a bit to before we left the house for the countdown.

We went to the Redhouse Museum to walk around then got trapped there for like 1 hour due to the f-ing heavy rain. Well, that's not the worse part.

When we got back to our "house", the front porch was flooded with longkang water. Then when we got into the house, a pungent odor came rushing into our noses.. Ergghh~

We've found out that the drainage system here sucks. The toilet is completely flooded due to longkang water overflowing from the drainhole. Thank god it wasn't from the toilet bowl.. ==

Some bags were placed beside the toilet, a few got wet. Mine was the furthest, so, if mine were to be wet, others should be completely soaked and throw-able already. Hahaha

It took quite long for the water to leave the toilet and it took about half a bottle of Ajax Fabuloso to remove the odor. Meanwhile, our cute little friend Liew Kok Leong was spraying Ambi Pur all over the house, no need pay what. XD

Ok, disaster's over. Time to celebrate~ Yay.. 14 of us + our university friend Amanda.

"Celebrate" means walk around, eat, wait for other people to catch up, more waiting and even more waiting. LOL

After the gift exchange, we played a few rounds of chor dai dee, what to do, typical chinese people. Hahaha... Then all went to sleep.

The next day, screams woke me up. Apparently the girls were playing kam min toi in their room.

"AAAHHH~~"

"HAHAHAHA~"

"YIIIAAAA~"

Now imagine the above in extremely high pitches. =="

Then we had cake for breakfast. Some kind of "thousand-layered" cake.. quite delicious and unique. After more walking around buying stuff and doing nothing, we went back to KL.

The trip was okay, but it's who you go with which is the most important. :D

Anyway, let's put the trip aside. Here's a piece of artwork by me.

Some of my friends asked me, "Eh, where you bought this thing ah? Ha? You make one ah? Really ah? Cannot believe lo.. Really you make one ah?"

I've been wondering... Why must humans be such busybodies? Why do they have to stick their nose in everything they see or hear?

What, due to curiosity? Come on, don't tell me you'll go try drugs because you're curious? When you see or hear something, is it really a must for you to comment on it? You wanna gossip, fine; do you really have to bring it out in public? The worse part is, covering your kepoh-ness by saying "we show concern".

Gossiping kills. But bringing such topics out in public and in front of the subjects is like tormenting them while stabbing them with a knife. Some people just can't shut their mouths after knowing something... They must announce it to the world. They will start going around, spreading the so-called "news"...

"Omg, have you heard? XXX and YYY did this in ..."

"Ey ey, I think ABC and XYZ got something leh?"

And then they'll approach the subjects.

"Ey, ABC, you and XYZ really got something one ah? Tell me stories leh~ :D"

Everyone loves gossiping, most if not all. How would you feel when you're the subject in the gossip? How would you like to be questioned in public and suffer from awkwardness and embarrassment?

When two people are close, it doesn't mean what you think. You're not them, you wouldn't know what they are.

When someone tells you something, just listen to it and do nothing. Spreading it around will create rumors. And from rumors, nasty things can happen.

In conclusion, Mind Your Own Bloody Business, please.

What are relationships? We discussed this topic on a reunion gathering. We are a few xueji (student reporters) who have never really contacted each other for a year, then met on one day to see each other. Relationships between us are weird. We won't really miss each other until we actually see each other after one year. So, it's like we suddenly realize how much we miss each other on the spot. LOL

So, anyway, we talked about the said topic for quite a while.. Relationships. Referring to couples. When is a "relationship" truly established between two lovers? When they hold hands? When a person accepts the other?

It all comes down to a word: consensus. Actually, it does not just apply to couples. Friends and family members are as well. A relationship is where two human beings agree to a way they would use to communicate with each other. The phrase "in a relationship" shouldn't be used on couples only. Anyway, we're talking about couples here, let's just put that aside..

So, consensus. If a couple does not come to consensus, they'll soon break up. It's a fact, not a curse. If you don't come to consensus, meaning you don't agree with each other. Whether the way you treat each other, or anything else.

Example, GUY A doesn't let GIRL B have any sort of contact with other guys. This seems to be cruel and unfair to B. However, B accepts it. If nothing goes wrong, they can last long together. but if B doesn't agree to what A wants, there's no point in having a relationship if both of them don't discuss the problem and come to consensus.

Some couples can maintain their relationships even if they don't see each other often or they're in a long-distance relationship. How? Sometimes it's just as simple as knowing "he loves her and she loves him". Trust and faith. If you do not trust and have faith in your partner, why be with him/her?

Humans fear loneliness, well, most if not all. You can't really blame your partner for having a close opposite-sexed friend if you can't be there for him/her all the time. If he/she is cheating, then of course that's his/her fault lah.

Social interaction is a need to every human. One shouldn't limit his/her partner's social interaction with other human beings. Some guys are kinda paranoid. They wouldn't let their partners have any sort of contact with opposite sexes other than themselves. What, scared they'll get hurt ah? Aren't you there to protect them? Restricting their social life is called quarantine, not protection.

Certain people just like to stay in such a way where their relationship is beyond being friends but yet to be a couple. Sometimes they do things that couples do but they just don't entitle themselves as couples. This kind of "mm-ching-mm-chor" punya relationship is not suitable for everyone.

To the guys, if a girl is very close to you and all that, it might just mean that she's treating you as a close friend or more but not as her boyfriend. Unless she really says she likes you, don't be an idiot thinking too much.

To the girls, if you think you want to be close to a guy but you don't have feelings for him, please state it clearly. Guys are not as smart as you think, well, most if not all. Make sure he isn't thinking too much.

*This post is referring to every human being but not any specific person living or dead. =P*

I'm back! Finally back to my home... Home sweet home. xD

6-12-2010, 6:00pm, I'm back to my home...

At first I thought, nothing's changed... ... right?

I've seldom called home, not much to tell actually.

Parents seldom called, "don't want to bother me", apparently.

anyway, I stood in front of my house and called home. A familiar voice answered, a voice which I had not hear for 4 months. A voice that almost, almost made me cry.

Then the door opened. My mum whom I had not seen for 5 months, sat there... on her wheelchair, handed me the keys.

Went in, put everything aside, and I started telling her stories. Haven't even took my bath... lol

The more she listened, the more her eyes got wet. Then she cried. She tried so hard to hold back. At that time, I had no urge to cry at all. I only had one thought in mind: "yes, I'm really back..."

Then my dad came home. As usual, he's acting like he doesn't care. But I know he does. XD

Now, almost everything in my house has changed...

New fan, new blender, new stove...

10,000 pails filled with clothes in my room...

adult diapers and all that...

For the past 5 months, my dad was the one doing all the chores. And obviously he sucked at it. Seriously... LOL

The bathroom walls are covered in black fungus(?), the toilet bowl looks worse than those in UMS, the kitchen sink is SO DAMN dirty... Maybe God sent me back to clean them up... ==

Well, at least now my dad takes care of my mum more.

My mum stays in the living room, aka her bedroom only. Occasionally, she drifts (飘移.. haha) around the house, going to the toilet and all... She can't do anything apart from sleeping, watching TV, reading, eating and going to the toilet. Wanna say "FML"? Come talk to my mum first. xD

I feel so tired. Physically and mentally... After 5 months, it's like, I couldn't recall what I've done back in UMS.

maybe I should just live in the moment...

Finally, our days in Kampung E has ended... Well, at least for this semester... haha
After packing and all that, we've stayed with Nicholas for a few days. Thanks Nich. :D
2 words to describe his family: freaking rich. xD high class decorations, elegant chandeliers, self-customized rooms, 4 (or more) TV... damn. Bloody rich ass... LOL
Kinda need to thank God for letting Nich go to Labuan with us. It was quite scary during the "heated battle" amongst different generations. Hahaha... thankfully it didn't turn out to be much of a guilt trip.
"You trust him, but I don't trust you all." is all that I can recall...
Anyway, it was an argument on which transportation is best for us to go to Labuan.
First is by a ferry from Jesselton Point.
Second is by bus to Menubok then by speedboat to Labuan.

We (me, pei wen, mun yee and nich) took the ferry because it's safer, according to elder generations. Chan and his other two friends took the second route.
The first route is definitely safer. But, if you get seasick easily, it's not really a good choice. Basically, it's a boring but safe route.
The second route, according to Chan, is thrilling. It's like having a feeling that you're gonna lose your life any second in the 15 minutes on the speedboat. As for the bus ride before the speedboat, like any usual bus ride la, nothing much.

Liquor and chocolate is extremely bloody freaking cheap. Chivas Reagal is sold at RM40+ where they sell it at RM185 in bars. See the difference? xD

There're a few places worth visiting there... The marine museum, bird park, Labuan Square, bla bla bla... Make sure you rent a car. No car = miserable trip. Lol

We convince Chan and his friends to take the ferry back to KK. Which turned out BAAAAD for them... Sorry la Chan.. xD
The weather condition wasn't really good. It was like sitting in a roller coaster, well, instead of moving front and back, the ferry rocks from side to side. Haha... The usually very annoying and noisy Chan turned into a dead fish. Can't even respond to us who're taking the opportunity to mock him kau kau... nyehehehehe...

Back to Nich's place, we hid ourselves in our rooms for the whole day; unless we go out to eat. Mun Yee will be online in the girls' room alone, Pei Wen and I would be playing PS2 with her exaggerated sound effects or watching HK drama and Nich will be playing his PSP or watching "Fringe". Basically, we're (including Nich himself) are treating his place like a hotel.
In these few days, we've only seen his parents' faces like one or two times... Sometimes they just "float" pass our rooms... lol
Seriously, when I try to recall what I've done since the last day of finals, all I can think of is watching movies, dramas and playing games. Damn, so unproductive. But, who cares... LOL
For three days, we've watched dramas until 3am. Dunnid sleep geh. Haha...

5th of December, 2010. Our last day in Sabah for the 1st semester. After like 40 rounds of Street fighter and a few episodes of drama (well, that's all I did for the day), we went the the so-called best mamak in KK, Restoran Salim. Our friend, Chan claimed that the maggi goreng there is so DAMN nice. But after eating there, I can tell you, honestly, if that is so DAMN nice then the maggi goreng at my place is HEAVENLY. ==
Salim charged us RM5 for each plate of maggi goreng and a bloody RM2.50 for teh o limau ais. Lei mou hui cheong? Daylight robbery man. Great disappointment. Ngai~

Reached LCCT. Adrenaline rushed all over my body. Yeah baby, I'm freaking going back to KL, I thought. Seriously, so damn happy weyh. If you don't go "overseas" like us to study, you wouldn't understand the joy of being able to go home. Without bitterness, you wouldn't know the pleasure of sweetness. :)
After 5 not-really-long months, I'm finally back. I'm finally back. OH YES, I'M BACK BABY. xD
However, I'm not back home. I'm with Denis in his hostel now. Tomorrow I'm officially back home. heh heh...

I'm starting to miss uni life now. Life seems so boring nowadays. Gotta find people and hang out more... heeeee...

We left UMS at about 8:30am. Then we had our breakfast at Tuaran in Tai Fatt restaurant. The Tuaran Mee they’re selling is supposed to taste very good. I order a beef Tuaran Mee, I know it’s good but I can’t taste anything. Curse you… damn flu… ==

The next stop is Nabalu, a place with a lot of bananas and a giant pineapple. Lol. Upon reaching, we met other friends who happened to go to Kundasang on the same day with us. Ah, started la, shouting names and all… haha

After taking some photos, we left Nabalu and arrived at Kundasang War Memorial. It’s a memorial for Australian soldiers who died/disappeared during a war or something like that… Sorry la ha, I’m not really interested into things like these… But, the memorial is really something; designs and all that.

And finally, we’ve reached our resort or whatever. The name was Philips something… Hahaha…

After resting for a while, we went to Poring Hot Spring. Well, “Tub with hot spring water” actually… We took 4 tubs, 2 for the girls and 2 for the guys.

The first thing to do before “enjoying” the hot spring water is to empty the water inside the tubs left by previous users. Apparently the previous users have very valuable brains: unused and can be sold at high prices. They do not have the initiative to empty the water before leaving. So WE (actually just me and Chan) had to do the job.

Two tubs were empty and the other two are full of water. No, not just water actually. It’s water with a F**KING LAYER OF GREASE floating on top of it. Take a closer look and you can see DANDRUFFS and P. HAIR floating around as well. Straight away no mood jor… ==

The first tub was not so bad actually but still… still… ERGGHHHH~ The second tub was the worst. The plug blocking the drain hole is so small that we had to use the car keys to remove it. Oh, not to mention that we have to get into the water. ERRRRGGGGHHH~~~ ==”

And so, after changing and all that, we entered our respective tubs and “enjoyed” the hot spring water. Actually, the water isn’t the most enjoyable part… it’s actually because we get to hang out like that and chit chat, talk cock, tell some stories and things like that… Girls had girls’ talk; we had men’s talk, Chan not included. LOL xD

After that was the barbequing session… Nothing much there, typical stuff la – fire, smoke, jokes and all that… xD Oh ya, Siaw Chin made fried rice, which was quite nice… Ok la, more than quite nice la… hahaha

Kundasang is a very cold place. The chill is so unbearable that we go to the fire frequently, to barbeque ourselves… lol

At one point, it’s so cold that some of us went in and covered ourselves with blankets. That night, everyone was so reluctant to take bath… because it’s so freaking cold even with the water heater dialed to the max. Room temperature: 14 degrees Celcius.

After the barbeque, Pei Wen’s voice turned damn coarse and my sore throat worsened, which gave us sexy voices… lol

Before sleeping, those few idiots had to do something stupid: pillow fight with My Chemical Romance’s “Na Na Na” as the background music. But, it was fun… because I’m the one holding the camera, recording the whole process… LOL

Then before sleeping, I myself did something stupid as well… “I shy shy~” xD

Well, the night was going quite well… until Aaron (Lee) started snoring and Leong Kok Peng smsed me 3 in the morning. Fark you KP. ==

The Next Day

Siaw Chin and Anything made breakfast for everyone. Fried toast with kaya, deep fried sausages and sweet potato soup. Then came Chan, TRYING to make “full-moon” eggs. Well, in the end the eggs were really like moons. I mean the SURFACE of the moons which is full of craters and bumps. LOL

Aaron (Lee) was challenged to make a full moon egg and he did a great job. However, it was ruined by a SORE LOSER – CHAN. xD

So, Chan, how do you feel about what you’ve done? Before you even answer it, you should’ve known my response… hahaha

After breakfast, we packed and left for Desa Cow Farm. That place kinda cured my noseblock.

At long last~ I’m FREEEEE~ for now.. lol
Last paper, Grammar in context, ended today at 11am.
I walked out of the hall at 10:10am.
Exam started at 9:00am.
I was still playing Backyard Monsters at 8:00am. (I mean, it’s just grammar what~ xD)
DotA from 12:30am till 1:30am.. (Seriously, no need study one~ haha)

I’m expecting at least 4 A’s out of 8 subjects…
Maths, Grammar, Philosophy and Taekwondo.
I’m praying hard so that we can enter the dean’s list, a list of students whose GPA is >3.5.
But I think I did quite badly in Organic Chemistry and Foundation in Food Science. Funny though, I’m good at subjects which are not really related to my course… Might as well just change course la ha…? xD

Anyway, I’m glad the finals is over… that means I can dar gei and watch movies all I want without being shrouded by guilt… lol

Well, the only thing I can recall from these few weeks is what happened yesterday. It was the Teknik dan Kemahiran Belajar paper…

Somehow, I ended up sitting in the first row. We planned on sitting in the middle of the lecture hall or what so that cheating would be easier. LOL
Anyway, the paper is in MCQ format, making cheating even easier. And since I’m the only one in our gang that finds this subject interesting, they’ve all sat behind me… leaving me alone in the front row with Jason and Mun Yee… T^T

The lecture hall is inclined, so it’s very easy for people at the back to cheat and “refer” answers. xD
Well, you know la, I’m so tall… so I had to sit in a position in which I’m comfortable and at the same time the gorgeous hottie behind me can take a peek. Haha…

And so, the exam started~ first few minutes, everything was fine… until this fat-assed invigilator came to collect our attendance slips. She was SO fat that when she turned around behind me, her ass bumped my head and gave me a slight concussion. It was like *boink*. Damn that fat ass… ==

Few more minutes passed, and there was this Arabic invigilator coming closer and closer to our area. Another fat-ass. Lol
Anyway, she kept looking in our way and finally, she stood in front of me. I smiled at her and continued my work. Then she said something with her extremely heavy slang, something I did not understand until she showed me with action. She said: “Cover your answer paper like this.” Hahahaha
I think I was being too obvious la, the answer sheet lying on the table wide open… even 2-3 rows behind could see it I guess… xD

Anyhow, the paper ended. And I ended up in 1Borneo with Aaron, Tian Qi and Poly. First, we went for some shitty food in the Manhattan Fish Market (which I was told by Nicholas today that he, as a sabahan, haven't even been there before. ==). Then we suddenly thought of watching a movie and ended up watching “The Next 3 Days”. It’s about a lecturer who planned a jailbreak in 3 days to rescue his innocent wife, who was accused to be a murderer. Great movie; full of surprises. Definitely worth watching.

I’ve been having a sore throat/inflammation of the throat for a few days now… Thanks to chrysanthemum, my throat is better now… I tell you ah, the chrysanthemum drink was so damn sweet weyh. Sweet dao 入心入肺… Hahaha Later get diabetes… Thanks a lot =P

Recently I've watched a great Hindi movie called "3 Idiots". I'm just gonna say it's great, it's funny, it's inspirational, it's touching and again, it's great. xD Go download it or you can get it from me. 2.5 hours of awesomeness. xD

Tonight, is the AIM Night or AIMS Night or AIMST Night or whatever the name is…

Tonight, is a memorable night for us, the first years of SSMP…

Well, let me tell you what happened before going deeper into this “mystical night”…

It was a great morning when we gathered at the bus stop, waiting for certain seniors to fetch us to Le Meridien Hotel. That was 10.30am…

After an agonizing 2 hours wait, they came with a proton saga, a perodua kancil and a motorcycle. And we’re supposed to fit 10 people in them…

Finally, we’ve reached the hotel… I couldn’t walk at first when I got down from the kancil. (Sat on Aaron’s lap and he kept complaining about my bones. LOL)

After rehearsing for our sketch performance, we went for lunch… RM2.80 chicken rice rocks. xD

It was quite boring after that, we sat there watching Aaron play Starcraft II. There’s seriously NOTHING to do…

5pm. Me, Jack and Aaron changed into our formal attires. And we started cam-whoring in the toilet. Well, “we” as in me and Jack. Narcissistic people… hahahaha

In the meantime, the girls (Pei Wen, Siaw Chin, Mun Yee) were already busy making up for about an hour… it took them another hour to finish their makeup. I must say, they look stunningly pretty after making up. Phewwwit. xD

*Cam-whore cam-whore cam-whore* Finally, the event finally starts~ after being delayed for an hour~

Actually, I’m not even sure of the title of our sketch. “Kellogg’s Life…” or something like that…

Our director is Veronica Leong, and I’m in-charge of the slideshow, sound effects and all that.

Well, the story goes like this:

A sort-of retarded fatso named Kellogg (Wei Shen) came to UMS. He asked the Janitor (Pei Wen) for directions.

In class, he was teased by his classmates Seasons (Qing²), Danone (Aaron) and Craft (Jack); while Lolipop (Mun Yee), Buttercup (Jia Huey) and Candy (Ying Xin) were busy gossiping.

Then, Kellogg failed a test given by Mr. Haaaayyden (Me), the Chinese organic chemistry lecturer with an Indian slang.

While in the library revising, Kellogg met Craft, the fella who runs a cafe in SSMP, who tried to recruit him into the cafe management team. And he bumped into the “so-very-interesting” girl named Apple (Siaw Chin).

They had a meeting for the team to elect a muffin recipe team leader. Here comes two new characters: the emotionless + perfectionist girl, Melon Water (Pei Wen) and Fish (Aaron), the stingy dude. In the end, Kellogg volunteered to be the muffin team leader.

On the opening day (High School Musical: Work It Out as background music), they decorated the cafe, made fliers and started selling muffins.

Last scene of the sketch, Kellogg was elected as the MPP and now in-charge of transportation in UMS.

Surprisingly, the audiences laughed at our performance. They enjoyed it. It was, well, great to be involved in a sketch performance again… Heee…

Food was nice, especially when we’re hungry. Haha. Fried chicken, Chinese cabbage with ham, fried rice, fish… Aaahh… never felt so good before. Hahahaha…

At 10.30pm, the “dance floor” was open. FunzCrew and Shian (a fourth year senior) were dancing happily there… And somehow, I got dragged in too. Did some joker dance and got out. Lol

Chan, CJY, Jack, Mun Yee, Pei Wen and Siaw Chin went to the Likas Sports Stadium to do some rock climbing...

Apologies to Jack, apparently you're quite insignificant for them as no photos were taken while you're climbing. HAHAHA

Ok, let's go into the details... :D

The climbing fees are 20 bucks/head. You can climb until you pass out, wake up, and climb again until they're closed for the day.

There are different levels of difficulties, I'll simply put them as 1, 2, 3, etc..

So, status report:

1: Everyone completed it.

2: Everyone except Siaw Chin.

3: Pei Wen 50%, Mun Yee and Jack completed it.

4: CJY 90%, Chan completed it.

Basically, Siaw Chin climbed 1.5 times (the first time wasn't complete) and she sat there for the rest of the time..

Apparently during no. 3, Pei Wen and Mun Yee were too short... They couldn't reach the higher rocks... hahahahaha

It took me an embarasing 30 minutes of shrieking and yelling to reach just 90% of no. 4...

Chan completed no. 4 with his face flushed like a tomato.

When Mun Yee was climbing, all I can hear was "Nyaa~" "Hiaa~" etc etc.

When Pei Wen was climbing, I can only hear "Very tired ah~" "Very tired ah~" "Very tired ah~" ...

When I was climbing, all you can hear is "AAAAAA..." "HUAAAAA..." "ARGHHHHHH..." xD

After the rock climbing session, we went over to Chan's place to chill out before setting off for dinner in a Korean restaurant.

Saturday, taekwondo day…

Woke up late, as usual…

Lucky for me, the training took place in the sports complex.. 5 minutes away from our hostel.. haha

Training went on as usual… But something quite bad happened…

During target practice, I kicked Jesse’s fingers instead of the target. Bones vs. bones = disaster.

And, yeah, it’s FREAKING painful… I even sprained my ankle slightly.. Ouch. ==

Then comes free sparring.. I paired-up with Jason, a guy who is one-head taller and 20kgs heavier than me. At first, everything was going quite ok.. Then, I accidentally use a bit too much force on my sidekick which landed in his belly-- umm, I mean abs. LOL

He couldn’t continue so he sat somewhere and took a rest.

So, I’m partner-less now. Then I paired-up with a guy who is 30kgs heavier than me. His partner went for a toilet-break.

For one minute (which is kinda long in tkd sparring terms), we’re just hopping around doing nothing. We kept telling each other to attack – no one likes to be countered..

And so, I broke the ice. He almost broke my bones. Hahaha

One turning kick hit my back, which is damn bloody hell painful but I withstood it.

The next turning kick slammed at my chest-abdomen level, giving me a feeling that my organs are smashed into smithereens.. For a few secs, I couldn’t breathe. The pain was so excruciating that I had to shout in order to let it out..

I shouted SO DAMN HARD that people from the ends of the sports complex stopped their activities and looked at me. I lied on the ground, resting.. I couldn’t do anything else.

That time, I thought it’s karma striking back at me, for kicking Jason..

But then..

NAH, it’s just taekwondo.. Nyahahahahaha…

I took that day as a reminder for me to do more sit ups.

My friend told me that the bruise is visible from around 15 meters away.. @@"

For the rest of the day, I sat on my chair watching “How I Met Your Mother” and eating biscuits with peanut butter.. They were extra delicious with the extremely expensive peanut butter.. Haha

It was a sleepless night for me. Had this, hung-in-the-middle-of-the-air, feeling...

I felt cold. Heart practically stopped for a few times.. I was worried, but what can I do apart from comforting you? Which, I doubt, had any effect.

Today, it looked as if nothing has happened. Good sign, I thought.

I told myself, ok, everything's fine now, I should stop worrying.

And then it happened again. You stopped talking. I know you're not ok and you kept telling me to ignore you. How could I? The more you tell me to ignore you, the more it hurt me.

I felt useless. I told myself, the most that I can do is to be by your side. But looking at your sad face and not being able to do anything about it is simply a great torment. Yes, I'm a nobody. I know. But I still do care for you.

I think I really should've just kept my mouth shut and do nothing. Just let it be. But something prevented me from doing that. I couldn't stop caring for you. I just want you to know, that I'm always here to share your ups and downs; no matter what do I gain in the end. I'll be there for you.

Sem Break spent in Sandakan :D

It’s~ Sem break~ haha

Everyone, most if not all, is happily packing their stuff and waiting for their time to go back to their homes. Oh oh oh, balik kampung~

Well, I’m not in the “most if not all” category. You see, we planned to go on a trip to Kundasang during this sem break. However, the plan did not work out. And we had to go SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE, NOT here to avoid a certain possible catastrophe.

And so… We ended up going to Sandakan… Jack’s house…

In case you don’t know who Jack is—no, he does not plant beanstalks; he’s Mun Yee’s “boy”. A former Kinabatangan basketball player. Quite something. Lol

Anyway, we had to travel there by bus. 6 hours of bumpy bouncy ride. Not recommended for people who get bus-sick easily. You’ll be *uuueeekkkkk*ing all the way. Nyahahaha… The bus to Sandakan actually supplied some plastic bags in front of each seat, to prevent puke flying everywhere in the bus.

The bus ride was kinda OK for us… Us, as in Jack and me. No, not the beanstalk. (I’m freakin’ lame huh? xD) We watched The Expendables, Salt and some other movies… While laughing at the hilarious subtitles. “Evelyn Garam, …”

As for the other two… They were, well, sleeping all the way after the first two hours. Feeling dizzy, apparently. Jack was always ready to pull out a plastic bag and plunge Mun Yee’s face into it. And me, I was ready to pull Pei Wen’s bag far far away from her so her laptop won’t get puked on. Hahaha…

Bounce, bounce, bump, bump, bounce… (6 hours later) and here we are – Sandakan~~

It was raining and Jack’s dad came to pick us up. After settling down, we went to have our first dinner in Sandakan. Bak Kut Teh… All hail PORK~! Haha

However, things did not turn out well for after that… I felt a surprising stir in my stomach. Chills went down my spine. Well, you should know what’s going on right? The first Hakka word I’ve learnt – Gip Si. Meaning? Continue reading. Lol

And so, I kept asking Jack, how long more will it take for us to reach his house. They wondered why. After asking a few more times, it’s clear that I needed to answer an IMMEDIATE call from mother nature. Upon reaching Jack’s house, I bolted upstairs, locked the toilet door and *BANG*. Call answered. XD

Great memory huh? :|

The next few days was a tour around Sandakan, with Jack’s dad as the tour guide. We went to Sepilok to see the Orang Utans in their hutan. Then, Labuk Bay to see Proboscis Monkeys which had an unexpected show, showing us how they DO it. After that was the crocodile farm, where we get to see, err, well, crocodiles.

Here, I would like to bring something up. The farm was more like a thrash mountain. You can see people throwing rubbish here and there, just like that. Ya, like that. Some even spit into the crocodiles’ pond. A few crocs were chewing tin cans… ==”

I seriously hope that the crocs will jump up and bite off their heads.

Well, that’s about it for our tour around Sandakan.

Now, let’s talk about eating. Haha

Every morning, if we go out to have our breakfast, we’ll be having it in a market. The food there is, well, kinda cheap compared to KK and also a bit tastier.

Then there's this Philippino restaurant called Masarap, PORK dishes, verrry nice.

Sim Sim Seafood restaurant, not-so-ordinary seafood noodles; and the place where Pei Wen fell in love with the words "小鱼干"(little dried fish, local delicacy). xD

At night, we’ll be staying home eating Jack’s mum’s cooking or we’ll be going out to have dinner with Jack’s friends, which, usually comes with a yum cha session.

We watched Piranha, an awesome movie with blood, flesh and intestines flying everywhere… The girls were *ewww*ing all the way, but surprisingly, they liked it.

Other times, we’re all busy with our assignments, and facebooking. Hah.

To reduce our stress, we’ll watch movies or dramas. Mun Yee with her Vampire Diaries; Pei Wen and I with our Pou Chong Ling aka Ghost Writer. There was one night where we watched The Descent 1 and 2 and a bit of Ip Man 2. All slept at 3am. Ki siao punya orang.

Well, one day before we leave Sandakan, we slept at 5am just to finish the last two episodes of PCL.

Today is the Mooncake Festival, isn’t it? Well, we kinda celebrated it earlier in Sandakan.

Candles all over the playground, watching the moon on the see-saw… Perfect time to get romantic, IF I had a girlfriend. xD

And so, the trip came to an end…

Oh, right… Before that, I slipped and slammed on the ground in the toilet. *BAAAM* so loud that they ran up to see if something had crashed down onto me. Lol

Thanks to Uncle Lee, FB poker addict, for his time bringing us touring around the place and his money for treating us to extremely great foods.

Thanks to Aunty Lee, who prepared breakfast and dinner for us.

Well, we came back to KK, by bus, 6 hours.

Well, at least being positive makes ME feel happier. :D

To be happy, you're not required to CREATE happiness. You just need to BE happy.

People often pursue happiness, but they tend to get too obsessed in the process.

"ARGH, I want to get that; then I'll be happy."

Well, getting that will make you successful, but are you really happy?

If you've used dirty tricks to achieve something that you think will bring you happiness, do you think it will last?

My point is, get it or not, one should like and enjoy the process of getting that.

This way, even if you don't get it, you'd still feel happy.

No effort will go to waste. It's actually how we think.

Shopping Spree

Well, thanks to Crystal, the Master of Shopping, we stopped at almost every shop to look at clothes, shoes and all that.

It's so damn tiring walking around doing nothing. (for me, even trainings in the gym are not so tiring)

The worst thing is, I'm totally alone during the whole process. I had halitosis at the end of the day, because I hadn't open my mouth for one whole day... =="

Movie Spree

Everyone's been talking about how great Step Up 3 is right? Well, duhh, of course it's great.

The dance moves, music and the moment they opened The Vault's shoe collection, everybody was like, WooAaAaaaaH~ xD

After watching Step Up, we had a 50 minutes break...

Then followed by Phua Chu Kang The Movie. Best in Singapore, JB and some say Batam.. haha

Well, it is nice, except for the part when Lim Lao Peh came out of his swimming pool with his hideous flower-covering-private-part pants and also when Rosie kissed Frankie. ==

Drama Spree

蒲松龄! hahaha... I've been watching it everyday, leaving some episodes for the time in Sandakan (we're spending 10 days there, OMG).

My roommate finished it (25 episodes) in like, 3 days. Damn, ki siao punya budak. lol

Finally... Island Spree!
Yes! It's our Midterm Break! wohooo... xD
On a perfect Sunday and with 4 gorgeous girls, I've went to 3 islands!
Mamutik, Manukan and Sapi.
Went there on a speedboat, winds trying to blow off my face... Oh, it's so damn indescribable.. haha

1st stop, Mamutik.
Very beautiful (actually all the islands here are beautiful, haha). Beautiful fishes, clear blue sea, beautiful girl(s)... haha
After snorkeling and all that, of course we had to shoot someone. With our cameras.
And so, they've decided to do the typical we-jump-high-high-and-take-photo thingy. It took like 15thousand tries to get ONE miserable OK-only photo. Aih, what to do, cameraman fail ba. xD
In case you're wondering, it's me. lol

2nd, Manukan.
Kinda big disappointment, it's just like any other common islands out there. Well, there's one thing we want to try out -- the sunset point. Next year ba, when our friends from UNIMAS come over. :D

Last, Sapi!
The water level is so low that you'll have to maintain your snorkeling mode or you'll get 10thousand wounds on your feet if you try to stand. Well, the underwater view is kinda nice, according to my friends..
However, it's not about snorkeling and swimming only...
The water sports are what made Sapi so special (I think).
We went for para-sailing, where they tie you to one parachute and drag you along the sea using a speedboat. 100 for one, 130 for two people.
Yeah, we low budget ma, so we went for 130. One parachute shared by two people.
I'm going up up in the air with..................wait for it.....................Shitting! hahaha
Then comes Pei Wen and Amanda...
Each pair gets 15minutes of "air-time". lol
We were excited for the first 5 secs. Shouting and screaming and all. Then we've decided to chat. And there goes our 65 bucks. Dengs. xD

And so... I've grown lazy writing this post, it is incomplete... Do remind me of what's been left out, or what you wish to know.

I’m sick… I’m tired… My body’s aching all over…

But, it’s worth it. :D

I go to gyms; I go for Taekwondo training.

When I get back to my room, I’ll study.

I wake up at 6.30 in the morning to cover what I’ve missed out.

To become more MACHO and get good grades 4.0… xD

Today’s the falsafah midterm test.

As usual, my alarm Kit (if you know what I mean. Haha) woke me up at 6.30 in the morning. Woke up, sat straight, and thought: why the fark do people like this exist? And, although I don’t believe in God, I’m thankful to be able to wake up.

Moving on… I did my revision on falsafah, using the internet. Turns out, I can only study better if the study materials are in English. :P

[Damn Aaron watching SNSD Gee MV, verrrry distracting… WOH~ the legggggs :U haha]

So anyway, I have to translate everything into English to help me understand better. That’s one reason why I hate falsafah: very time-consuming.

Whilst I’m studying, Aaron is playing Devil May Cry 4, sending monsters flying here and there. However, that did not distract me. (F* you Aaron.) At least I didn't put down the falsafah notes and started playing. Haha

Then as usual, we went to class… well, I did feel nervous, it’s our first midterm test after all. Tomorrow’s food science, damn. Everyone’s busy crunching the notes, biting and chewing…

And then the question papers came to us. After reading that, deep down in my heart, I felt…

GNN, I woke up at 6.30 in the morning to study something that did not appear in the test?

But, thankfully, the test wasn’t that hard. Heh heh…

We went to the library. At the entrance, I saw “DotA tournament registration”.

Obviously, as a DotA addict, it’s certainly my duty to check it out. xD

After finding out the fees (25 bucks/5players), I told them silently, choi lei dou soh la...

Our main purpose in the library is to study. Well, it’s the other way round for me. The library is a place for me to enjoy the internet. xD

I’ve been chatting for about 1 or 2 hours with Lee Chern. Also known as Dr. Regen. He’s like a consultant and counselor to me. “When in doubt, consult Google. Then Dr. Regen.” Hahaha

Well, I’m feeling kinda lost these days… no choice la…

After library session, I went to the gym for my regular work out…

I’m constantly motivated when I'm working out. During every lift, every pull, every move, there’ll be a name on my mind. This name keeps me going on and on and on and on…

A name so sweet just by thinking of it, just like supplying glucose for energy production in my body. Hahaha I’m so lame. xD

So, if I'm not given that name, does that mean I'm someone else?

I don't know who am I... Do you?

What am I?

A human? Could I be a spirit or soul trapped inside a body? If my soul is transferred into a pig's body, am I a pig then? Am I the body, or is this body my shell?

When do I start to exist in this world?

The time when I was born?

The time when that particular sperm and ovum fuse?

Or do I exist as halves in a sperm and a ovum?

Where do we come from?

Skip the bullshit, where did the first "human" come from?

Evolution? From the apes?

If it is so, where do the apes come from?

So, why do we exist?

To learn? To work? To make money? To make more money?

To play? To enjoy life?

To find our soul mate? Get married and reproduce?

Up until now, can you answer my question?

Then what is your purpose in life?

To me, we exist to find out why do we exist. From there, we can know more about "ourselves" and find out who we are. But at the same time, we enjoy and learn from life as we live through it. Working is necessary for us to survive and continue our search for the "answer". And finally, we get married so that there're people after us to continue the search... :D

August 14th: Haircut!!! ARGH

For the past few week, one beeeetch called Kong Mun Yee (hahaha) has been telling me to go get a haircut. "Verrrrry long ah! You not hot de meh? Look so messy laaaa~"

Fine! I went to 1B and got my hair cut. I brought little Pei Wen with me to give some opinions or comments.

But first I would like to thank Chan for dropping us at 1B. :D

Anyway, we wandered around in 1B, searching for any "good-looking" saloon...

We found one, but the hair-dressers were sitting there, chillaxing... And we didn't feel confident about them. So we moved on...

We've searched high and low, and finally we found one. The "stylist" seemed to have quite the "style". Well, without hesitation, we went in.

The haircut took quite long. I actually fell asleep in the process. Zzz...

When everything has ended, I looked into the mirror and saw one sohai. LOL

Then I realised that the sohai is me. ==" (ok, a bit of exaggeration here. haha)

Pei Wen laughed whenever she looked at my face. Aih~ Macho-ness sudah hilang ba. :(

Haha...

One funny thing happened, though.

Pei Wen: "Can you teach him how to comb his hair ah?"

Stylist: "Neh, you teach la, you're his girlfriend ma..."

Pei Wen: "NO NO NO, I'm not her girlfriend, no no no..."

Me: "Am I really that bad until you have to deny it so strongly?"

So, anyway, we left the saloon after reluctantly paying 30 bucks to that fella for the APEK hairstyle he gave me. AIH~

As we're walking, we feel even more uneasy about my hairstyle...

Yeah, we turned back... And we told the fella to make my hair not so APEK-ish.

It looked better, but the sohai-ness is still there. AIH~

After the haircut, we went to McD. We told ourselves to only step into McD once a month, as we're food science students. lol

You can see Pei Wen's face change when she is holding the Fillet O' Fish... The eyes will go big and shiny. hahaha xD

Then we went to somewhere called New York New York or something like that to celebrate Shitting's birthday.

Sidestory: The word "ting" reminds me of our other friend named Annie, and her surname is Ting. So it's like, "Hey, what's your name? Annieting (anything)." XD

Ok, back to Shitting... HAHAHA (please laugh with me if you get the meaning. xD)

Shitting is a cute girl, 147cm, verrrry 38. haha

While eating the small cakes and all, we gossiped... (Damn, more macho-ness lost. AIH~)

And then we became future housemates. Amanda, Pei Wen, Stella, Shitting and me... I'm kinda lucky xD (kawan² sekalian, janganlah fikir yang bukan² ye.)

Weird Saturday. 7-8-10

There is grammar replacement class today, 8am-11am or 11am-2pm.

I have taekwondo at 9-12. So my plan was to go to grammar class from 8-9, tkd 9-12 and resume grammar from 12-2.

As usual~ I woke up late. Damn~! So I've decided to go to grammar class at 11... Our tkd master will allow me to leave earlier. :D

And so everything went according to my plan... We had our grammar class in the school of pyschos (sekolah psikologi dan kerja sosial, so sial man... xD). So I went there at 11.

No sign of anyone...

I wandered around the school until 11.20, and then I went to PPIB (Pusat Pengantar I-something Bahasa, hahaha).

As I was walking, suddenly a head popped out from a window. It was Ms. Ann, our grammar lecturer.

"Hellluuuu my dear boy~"

That totally crept me out. Sent chills down my spine... =="

After class, I went to the library (big thanks to Nicholas who had sent me there) to have my daily dose of Uncle Bob's Fried Chicken, extremely succulent, juicy and tender fried chicken... Waliao eh, finger-lickin' good ba. xD

After UBFC, I waited for the bus back to Kg E. No bus after 20 minutes.

Despite my aching legs (result from wushu and tkd), I walked back.

On my way back, I saw a bus on the other side of the road. Then I saw two girls waving frantically at me: Amanda and Shitting. LOLed at the second name. xD

Nothing much there...

When I've reached half way, Chee Yuen and his dad passed by and sent me back to Kg E. Thank you ah uncle. xD

And so, blah blah blah, I went to PC fair with Pei Wen and Siu Pei (future teacher :D) at 5.

There, we saw Wei De (pronounced Wei Di) and his friend, 3.83 (sorry la, we dunno his name. haha). Wei De bought the exact same bag as Pei Wen's yesterday, but for a much lower price; RM29 vs RM20. Ha, kesian Pei Wen. xD

Then, blah blah blah again, Siu Pei bought a 3-in-1 Canon Inkjet printer with CISS for RM229. I, as a gentleman, offered to carry the printer for her. Ha. Same as yesterday, BIG mistake. ==

We walked around 1B, with me still carrying the printer... When we finally got to her car, my arms are so freaking sore that I might not be able to play DotA well tonight. lol

O~Kay! Tomorrow is Family Day for SSMP! We're going to Pantai Odek. Wee, can't wait. xD

PC FAIR! IN SABAH! :D

Woh! PC Fair in 1Borneo, Sabah! :D

Before we get to that, kindly let me describe our "lovely" morning.

So we met up at 10.30am, as usual, as the cafe. We were happily waiting for the T.U.T. bus to arrive.

10minutes passed... No bus...

20 minutes passed... One bus arrived, but some idiot stopped the bus before the bus stop and so everyone squeezed into the bus. We're unable to do so. *Tuuuut*

30 minutes passed... Our friend, Siaw Chin called up T.U.T. The fella said a bus is gonna arrive in 10 minutes. So we waited...

Nia ma after 10 minutes that fella smsed us saying that the bus is full upon reaching the library. ==

And so we waited... Again... and again... and again...

We told Mun Yee that we'll go to 1B first, but we ended up going with her and Jack. AIH~ Miserable.........

Then we've decided to take the TUUUUUT bus at the library. And, yay! We've arrived at 1B at 12.30pm. Nia sing wasted 2 hours of my life. =(

We had brunch in a restaurant full of lala-zais, Hong Kong Delight or Gam Tong in cantonese. I ordered a set meal: one unagi bento, one soup, one ice-blended soyabean and one guailinggou. The set costs RM 19.80.

When the bento came into my sight, I was like, "wtf? so small?"

It is seriously damn 7 small. DAMN 7 small. ==

When I tasted the "soyabean", it tasted like greenbean... Kena con. ==

I asked the waiter, he said: "No, it's soyabean." Conjob fella. ==

So anyway, we've finished the food and we waited for the guailinggou.

Guess what, I sucked in the thing and before I know it, the thing is gone. The amount given is so damn bloody freaking little weyh~

Ok, enough with my "lovely" morning. Let's move on to the PC FAIR...! :D

We saw Chan, our sabahan friend working as a promoter at one of the stalls.

Then blah blah blah, we walked around and blah blah blah... I ended up buying a wireless mouse that can be used on a glass surface. WOW, how cool is that??? xD

Oh ya, the mouse can be used 15m away from the pc, and the promoter uncle demonstrated it. He walked so far away, I told him I get the point, please come back... He went further... ==" Pei Wen and Siaw Chin was laughing there. hahaha

I also bought a speaker from Chan's stall, Sonicgear or something. RM30, extremely good sound quality. :D

Pei Wen bought a laptop bag, I'm not sure what Mun Yee and Jack bought...

Siaw Chin... Our dai gah jeh bought Xerox Scanner Copier Printer. RM399, comes with a small bag and a trolley as a free gift. Thankfully we have the trolley as the machine is freakishly HUGE. As in HUGE. haha

We left the huge machine with Chan to help us send it back to Kampung E.

And somehow we ended up testing glasses in Focus Point and A-Look. I insisted that it is called Ah-Look. Haha... Had a bit of fun there... :)

Had lunchinner at Homes... Then we returned to our hostel.

On the way back, we saw Yung Jing and her friends carrying two printers. Crazy people. But still, we're even crazier. lol xD

And we ended up taking a van back... Being a gentleman, I offered to carry the two printers. BIG mistake. I almost sprained my back. lol

As we're entering UMS, our van was stopped by the guards there. Apparently for some reason these vans are not allowed to go in if they came from 1B. I'm not sure why, so don't ask me why. ha.

The driver was frustrated so he sped along the way. I got thrown out of my seat when he braked. Kanasai punya driving skill. Dahlah takda seatbelt kan? ==

Yay, we've reached Kampung E in one piece... Semua orang happy... :D

It was 6.45pm, so I managed to change and tried my luck in meeting the wushu club at the sports complex.

Ha, today appears to be my lucky day... Hellish training in the club, nice people and all... Great time. xD

After training, I saw Amanda upon stepping into the cafe. She didn't know that I'm a 91 if she wasn't told so. Am I really that old? Or mature-looking... Hyehhyehhyeh... xD

Tomorrow's gonna be hectic, 8-9am grammar class, 9-12 taekwondo, 12-2 grammar again. Ha. FML xD

Uni life. Year 1, August, 5

Promised to wait at the cafe at 7.00am.

So I set the alarm to 6.00am.

Woke up at 5.55am. Still feel like sleeping for a while more, but I turned off the alarm. not sure why. :|

Yeah, you would have guessed it correctly. I woke up at 7.00am. =="

And so I rushed everything and went down at 7.05am. GODLIKE speed. hahahaha XD

I thought I was late. Turns out, there're friends who're later than me and we left at 7.45am. So much for the rushing. AIH~

To make things worse, our Friend up there poured water down to earth.

The damn rain has already lower down my spirit, and we have organic chemistry somemore. Boring like hiau... ==

Our lecturer, Mr. Iqbal always speaks to himself in his farn~tarstic english. "Wart is der imporrtense of ..."

During the lecture, some were fishing, some were chatting, some were staring at the lecturer trying to get wart der fark he's trying to say...

And I saw something extremely shocking. Something that I've never seen before: One fella is watching Korean drama with her laptop. HOW COOL IS THAT? xD

After seeing that, I started Facebooking. LOL

So anyway, class ended and as usual we'll go to D'Bayu Cafe to have our lunch. The Mee Goreng Mamak brings you closer to our Friend up there.

Why? Because when you take a few strands of noodles up, you'll see oil dripping down like water and then you'll shorten your lifespan after eating that.

Why do I eat that despite the extreme amount of oil used? Because I cant find anything else which can satisfy my stomach-sized black hole.

After another class, we went to our camp site, the library...

After a long hunt for a vacant table, we've finally found one.

I saw two girls walking towards it, but there's still quite a distance. So I just went and occupied the table. Then the two girls walked away, one of them mumbling something, maybe she's cursing me or something.

Mun Yee heard something like "The first-years this year have no manners." from her.

Sorry lah, aunty, this is a public place, the first-come-first-serve basis applies here. Takkan I wanna stand, let you sit and bow 90 degrees to you? Choi lei dou soh la.

Tea-time's over, we went camping. lol

Our camp ended early today, then Pei Wen and me ended up having dinner at our hostel's cafe.

One funny thing happened.

I saw Chee Yuen, our VI friend, saying hi. So I hi-ed back.

Turns out he was hi-ing to a malay girl next to him.

After seeing that, Pei Wen laughed uncontrollably like an idiot... haha

Food was okay but the chatting-chatting and laughing-laughing part was the best. To me, making people happy is most important. ha :D

DAMN it's raining again... Time to DotA with Aaron. Ciao~ xD

It's the start of something new.

Sabah, a place that has never crossed my mind. And now, I'm here, studying in Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

Kota Kinabalu, it is very similar to Kuala Lumpur. Well, less noise, less rude people, less BUSES and NO LRT. Kanasai wey, you need to squeeze into every bus you take.

UMS, it's a huge place. If you choose to walk, it takes about 40 minutes to reach the entrance from our hostel. If you choose to WAIT for the buses, it might take up to an hour. F***ed up right? but hey, better than nothing lo~

Unlike other universities, UMS has no orientation week. It's all about talks and briefings. Yup, extremely boring ones. They teach us how to apply this apply that, do this do that; great time for us to replenish our lost sleeping hours huh? :D

So, anyway, everything's cool here, except the weather. ANYTHING BUT THE WEATHER. You cannot predict when it's gonna rain. You have to bring along an umbrella all the time.

Oh ya, UMS provides each of us an umbrella, a bag, a bloody red tie and a f-ing bloody red batik shirt. This bloody red shirt is very useful if you wanna dye your other shirts red, get what I mean? The colour comes off very easily. The Kong Mun Yee always whine about her Padini shirt being stained in red, and I'll be standing there laughing. Nyahahahahahahahaha... XD

Right, before I forget. Air asia sucks, but we have no choice. We're (Mun Yee and Me) cramped up in our seats with the so-called "extra-legging" for slightly more than 2 hours. The food sucks, too. FML (just for that 2 hours. lol)

Ok, let's move on to our hostel. It's called Kampung Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

The food is better here, there are washing machines, dryers, grocery stores... So much better compared to Kampung ABCD. There're a total of 5 blocks here, 4 for girls and 1 for guys. Woooo~ hahaha

I'm staying on the third floor, the 7th unit. Every unit has 3 rooms and 4 bathrooms with toilets. So much better than Kampung ABCD. :D

My roommate is one joker called Aaron from Klang. Whenever we reach our rooms, we put down our stuff, chillax a bit, and we start playing DotA. Well, that's during our free time. And of course, we will do some studying.

I've met new friends: Fu Haw, a great artist from Ipoh. Here's his website; Wei Shen, another joker from Klang who doesn't know how to shut up, hahaha; Khairul, a Sabahan, the crazy partner of Wei Shen; Chan, a Sabahan who looks like a korean-popstar; Jack, who gets my jokes all the time... and so much more. Ha. And I haven't even started mentioning girls.

There are 152 first-years in the school of food science but there are not more than 25 guys. OMFGWTFBBQ. =="

I do not want to mention the lecturers, as I do not want to get kicked out of UMS. Ha.

Ok, maybe one of them. Our organic chemistry lecturer is 80% similar to Dr. Puva. OMG right? ==

According to Mr. Han, we'll puke blood when we see our fellow coursemates doing maths. So far so good la, I have not met such cases yet. YET. xD

Those who're from matriculation seem to be so damn confident. All I can say is "good luck". :)

Now's August. We've received individual and group assignments from almost all of the 7 subjects we're taking this semester. And all these are to be done with reference to the books found in the library.

Our library is huge, even larger than the chancellor's hall (the hall covers about two football fields, seriously). Anyway, the environment is great, nice air-conditioning, good chairs and tables; most importantly, GREAT WIFI. xD

If our home is our home,

then our hostel is our second home.

The library is our campsite.

We camp in the library from about 2 to 10pm almost everyday, with 1-2 hours of lunch and dinner breaks. Yeah, we're probably the most KI-SIAO people in SSMP (school of food science).

This "we" consists of Jack, Mun Yee, Pei Wen and me. There is no bus service after 10pm, so we'd have to walk all the way from the library to our hostel. It takes about 20-30 minutes for Pei Wen and me, while it takes 15 thousand years for Jack and Mun Yee to reach the hostel. hahahaha xD

We've been walking like this for about 2 weeks... Nah, it's just 4 days actually. Ha.

I kinda enjoy the "walk in the night". The tranquility lets me clear my mind for a while. Somemore got one cute girl walk with me wor, where else can you find this kind of syok-nessss? Muahahahaha~ Uni life rocks. Well, for now. xD

Of course, I do miss KL. My family is there, my best friends are there and my cute students are there. Well, I'm going back to KL in December. See you guys then.

Time to study. :)

One Night in Goldhill

It was a friday night. 9th of April, 2010.
The headmaster and the teachers of SJK(C) Lai Chee gathered, and had a feast, sponsored by the PIBG. And of course, the heads of the PIBG was there.
That night, we dined in Goldhill. (Emperor Garden, to be exact. but I think Goldhill sounds cooler. lol)

nice lobby huh? xD

ok, so we're all waiting for food and the heads of the PIBG, so some teachers were chatting and some were singing karaoke; well, I was pretty much stoning there, with another young male teacher, Mr. Liew.

Songs from Twins kept on playing, and guess who was singing them -- a teacher who is in her 50's (I think. xD) Shocking. Hahaha

no point introducing them, you wouldn't meet them anyway. lol

The first dish is the "assorted cheap stuff". hahaha meatballs, scrambled eggs, etc etc.

Then comes the "Fart Teew Chiong" (Buddha Jumps Over Wall), it was stated in the menu that everyone gets one 盅, which was supposed to be big.

When I recall my memories in Form 6,
I realize that,
I didn't actually put any effort in my studies during Upper 6.
Well, except maths. lol

I was ignorant.

I don't have my Bio notebook/exercise book,
I don't bother to buy my PA textbook after it is stolen,
I only realized that my Pelangi Maths Paper 2 was with Hakim all the time towards the end of the year...

Teachers nag (and scold) about our homework and all, but,
all I had in mind, are things like: Yutkee, Capsquare, Wushudao, Dragonica, bla bla bla...
Studies? Nah, screw that.

Now, as a teacher, I've realized something...
Something that I've been through:
Ignorant students.

There're 5 classes, H, K, M, B and U.
With H being the "best", and U the "worst".

Students in the H class will do revision whenever they had free time, and they'll be so damn happy when teachers give them free revision exercise books. (If I get any of those, I'll either throw them at any corner or I'll recycle it. Either way, I'll not use it :P)

On the other hand, students in the U class will get together and have a chat or play all sorts of chess. No, they don't revise their schoolwork.
"Why?" I asked them.
"We're in the worst class, there is no hope."
"Why are you in the worst class?"
"Because we have bad results."

Exams are set, to select elite students from the rest, putting them into a "better" category.
This "better" category will allow these "elite" students to have better teachers and study environment.
What happens to the others? Average ones will stay average, and below average ones will go worse; while the "elites" continue to excel.
This is selection. The group that can adapt better survives.
Which, I find VERY unfair.

Every student has an equal chance of quality studying. Not just the better ones.
Yeah, everyone knows that. But why do we still divide them into groups?
Some parents are selfish. They're afraid that the "worse" students will "drag" their children down.
Total BS.

Let's talk about me. xD

During primary, I didn't like to study.
One fine day, I miraculously passed PTS (an exam which allows you to skip standard 4) and advanced to the "second best" class in standard 5.
My results were quite bad but SOMEHOW, I've managed to squeeze through the tiny gap and got into the "best" class in standard 6.
Still, my results were like shit.
And some of them thought that I couldn't survive.
When the UPSR results were released, some parents were bloody shocked after knowing mine.
Well, my parents are bloody shiock la... xD
"How can your son get 7A's while my boy gets 6A's and a C???"
That "boy" used to lan-see my classmates during school exams. Payback time. LOL just joking.

Was this luck?
I don't think so.
It was kinda my effort.
I don't study in class, just like the U class students I've mentioned.
But, peer pressure is not to be underestimated.
No one, and I mean NO ONE plays with me in class. (there's one or two, but rarely)
So, I'm FORCED to study. QUIETLY. ==

Some of you might think, "Wa, you study one mehh~?"
Yes, I do. From Standard 6 to Form 3. Only. (and THE month before STPM xD)

This "classification" of students needs to be revised.
And a good attitude should be thought to the students, if they do not listen, use brute force. Huhuhahahaha >:{

I actually have a student who can't spell Monday to Sunday.
I gave him time. 2 months.
He came back with Monday, Thuersday, Wednesday, Firday and Sunday.
How long did it take us to learn these 7 words back in standard ONE?
Oh, did I mention that this student is a prefectly healthy kid in standard... SIX?
I'm still asking him to learn these words and spell them to me every day. Which he fail to do so.

Is this laziness?

No, it's much worse.

It's IGNORANCE.

Teachers shouldn't ignore their students.
but when he is fed up, he'll make you wish that he'll ignore you. Ha.

I hadn't been blogging for quite a while. Quite, as in a few months.

Well, I actually did write new posts. I just didn't post them.
Why?
I don't see the point of posting them to my blog.

During that "hibernation" period, a lot of stuff happened.
Bad stuff.

I wrote a lot about everything that happened. A LOT.
I was sometimes angry, sometimes upset, sometimes I don't even know what am I thinking.
Mostly because of my parents, sometimes because of my friends...

I keep writing and writing and writing and writing and writing... ... ...

But when I reach the end of every post,
the feeling of frustration, agony, is gone...

Then I start to think, well, I wasn't able to think straight previously.
Anyway, I was thinking, since I'm feeling better now,
why the hell should I post this piece of miserable shit in my blog,
and show everyone else that I'm miserable? When I'm NOT anymore?

And so, I won't think twice about posting it. I'll just close the window and continue my work --
FACEBOOK. lol

I'm a person who likes to see people smiling and laughing.
No matter how UGLY you are, as long as you smile, you'll look "better", if not "good". xD
That's one reason I don't like others to see me being sad.
But sometimes I fail to do so. That's when I'm feeling seriously, extremely down. ==
Most of the time I try my best to hide my face if I'm sad. lol

I like to make people around me feel happy.
And I became a joker because of that. Hahaha...
I do crazy stuff, I "try" to crack jokes... Not to gain attention, but to make them laugh.

I wasn't much of a sociable person back in Form 4-5...

Why? 3/4 of my life during that time is all about games.
Cyber cafe, gameboy, cellphone games, bla bla bla...
I couldn't care less about how, no, what I look like on the outside, don't mention the inside. lol

Why don't I stay home and play games?
I have none. My parents use my Playstation® to play Mahjong games. cool huh? they still do. xD
I don't even have a computer.

I'm not allowed to hangout with my friends. Don't even think about staying overnight.
I don't even have my own housekeys.
If I ever come home early and my parents are not around, I'll have to sit in front of the gate and wait for a few hours for them to return. Hours.

I used to feel angry and all, but, I'm used to it already, so it doesn't really piss me off now.
Yes, this still happens to me.

Remember how we used to call our parents or brothers and sisters "old-fashioned"?
This is happening to us now... Maybe it's karma... lol

The younger generation is pulling away from us, faster than we can imagine.
Their "style" is TOTALLY different from us. They "mature" very quickly.
well, they "think".

Youngsters nowadays like to protest.
"WE HATE THIS"
"WE HATE THAT"

Thanks to Facebook, these young protesters can "unite" and form a LARGE group with ZERO power. :)
"Don't be so outdated, Malaysian schools should learn more from Japanese and Taiwanese schools"
"Students have the right to keep long hair"
"Students have the right to bring handphones to school"
"Schools should allow students to dye their hair"

Some of the creators can't even spell correctly.
"Teachers should also have the demarid system, not just students" (demerit) xD

There's a lot more of these groups, I'm listing out a few interesting ones... lol
Ok, so I did some "research", and found out that the creators to these kinds of groups, are those whom we address as "The Lala People".

No, not that seafood lala. Addressing them as that will insult the seafood.

So, if Malaysian schools become like schools in Japan or Taiwan, our students will all become like this:

This sickening LALA culture spread to the youngsters through those stupid dramas made in Japan and Taiwan, which normal people (like me, lol) will puke after watching for a few seconds.

and I don't really like how they "talk".
1) They can't or speak extremely broken English and act all high and mighty.
2) They use "lol" in quite different ways: lolololololol, lolz, lolx, lols, looooooooooool
sometimes I wonder whether they know what is "lol".
3) They type in such complicating ways, such that we need time to decipher them:
"H3Ys, my NaM3 ish M!AO M!AOx, nIC3 2 M33T yOu~ hAhAs"
4) They like to "lan-see" people, when they don't really have any "__" for them to "see". xD

up till now, it's only about the Lalas.
Some schools have Goths, these people like to cut themselves, hurt themselves and stay emotionless.
One of my friends told me that somebody told him that that somebody's friend cut herself in class, not one time, a few times until she gets a "scaly" look on her arm.
Is that cool? If I poke some girls with a pin they'll scream like hell. Imagine cutting. Yourself.

We thought we were rebellious. Until i saw these people.
Kids nowadays. Aih~

No, I'm not done complaining, I'm just stopping here so that I have enough sleep to work tomorrow. lol

corus hotel, not bad...

Car VS. Van

hanged out with the SMP gang again...
nx, ls, cy, hy...
planned to go to somewhere in Kepong to makan...

on the way, we're talking talking talking, laughing laughing laughing,
then somehow nx got onto a wrong lane...
so, she entered the correct lane... from the right...

suddenly, one pink van came into the lane, half an inch away from nx's car...
maybe less...
the driver, a fat ass, showed his big fat middle finger to us...
what kind of barbaric act is that? O_O

then nx tried to gostan a bit, but the car behind was too close...
the lights went green...
the disgusting pink van just sped off... *SCREEEEEECH* *KLINK CLANK CLONK*
sped off with nx's car's bumper...

at 1st we didn't know, we thought it was just some scratch or what...
when the car started to move, we felt as if there's something blocking the front tires...
so nx drove to a side...
that fat ass was there waiting...

one of the headlights is smashed, the bumper was "torn" off from the car...

that idiot didn't stop after knocking her car...

nx and ls had the VERY angry look...
the fat ass didn't apologise, obviously... guess what he said...

tables, chairs, donno what shits all stacked up in the gym, leaving it with only 50% space for their training...

then i took the ikan bilis to the weighing counter... to weigh it of course...

there stood an M-lady in her 20s...
before weighing the goods, normally they'll put tape around the mouth of the plactic bag right?
(i suspect they do this to increase the weight... hahahaha... cheap people)
that stupid idiot went and tore open the plastic bag...
she took out the other 2 bags, untied the knot, then put the tape...

guess what she said...

a normal friday... everyone relaxed... hakim didn't go to pray... all go lepak after school...

i got 8 essays to do, 50+ maths questions as homework...

won first 2 rounds... then lost 99 in the 3 round...
that guy beat Peng Mun you know? hahahahaha

i lost, so, what's the point of staying back?
went to watch the F6 basketball match...
during the 2nd half, all the girls no chance to touch the ball also...
bloody baskets... jientelmen sikit boleh ah?

then we went to McD lo...
before that, donno why suddenly got one F3 and F5 guy following us...

then we met those indians, kok peng, kim foo they all...

then i met my deaf friends... colleagues...

one of them quit his job in McD after a few days, saying that he can't work in that kind of environment...
